Salaam Alaykum!

This blog is now in the smack in the middle of the Middle East.

Am a little sad because I missed a dinner that took me a month to organize and from all accounts, there was much wine-drinking, table-overturning, roast-sambal-pig-flinging, out-making and at least one attempt at police-calling. But no matter, will be back soon to avenge that loss.

Anyway, the tea here is excellent; their Ginger Tea is so subtle that the Ginger only appears as a fragrant aftertaste. And their milk tea is astonishingly addictive.

You know the meals here are promising when the buffet table features a huge Shish Kebab sizzling on a vertical spit. And the service is so good that they are appalled when you attempt to self-serve at the buffet table. 😉

Photos and details coming soon when I am back in the SG.
