So now it’s sweet, sour, bitter, salty, umami and calciumy… Next stop, “metallic” or “aluminiumy”. 😛

If calciumy is the sixth taste, whatever happened to ‘spicy’ or ‘hot’ as a taste?

@xiix: I find that “Spicy” as in heat is more a touch sensation (e.g. “burning sensation”) than a taste. And of course, taste is not the same as flavor. 🙂
