Nasi Lemak Party

Had a Nasi Lemak party at Azhang. Throat still hurts but boy, it was worth it.

Introduced to everyone a distillate made from Acacia Honey. The Gioiello Nonino is a very elegant, subtle and refreshing aquavitae.

It went very very well with coconut, apple and pecan (with Jack Daniels!) pies made by the legendary Jeremy. Especially the coconut pie.

OH GOD! What I would give for good Nasi Lemak. Must try this Azhang restaurant.

BTW, you’re brave putting up an actual photo of yourself. Me, I’ll hide behind the veil of cyberland.

It’s a private party so the Nasi Lemak was cooked special for it. Azhang serves a mighty grill and a mean dessert.

It’s been 30+ years, I have heard almost all forms of abuse possible about my looks. Scar tissue and all that. 😉
